ELL Graduation Celebrates English Language Learners
Last week we hosted our annual graduation ceremony for 68 English Language Learners. We’re proud to recognize these amazing Panthers who have developed strong English skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Students learning English can officially exit ELL (English Language Learner) status when they show these strong English language skills on the NYSESLAT, New York State's English language exam. It is a huge accomplishment! Thank you to our fantastic ENL instructors who work diligently with each of these students to get them to this stage! #WeAreSweetHome

Sweet Home School District is pleased to announce the next Driver Education session at Sweet Home High School starting on Monday, April 13, 2026. Details on the program and a digital registration form, can be found here: 
 
 
  1. The in-car portion of Driver Education will be offered by Hoffman's Driving Academy. 
  2. You must take both a classroom session and an in-car session. Classroom sessions will take place at Sweet Home High School Room 400B. 
  3. Cost is $879.00. Registration is open immediately.
  4. You must either pay in full or place a deposit of $100 to hold your spot. Checks can be made out to Sweet Home Community Education. We also accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover.
  5. Sweet Home High students will receive preference in registration. 
  6. All absences must be made up in order to complete the course. There is a $50 fee that will be charged to students for a make-up for a missed session.
  7. The course must be paid in full before you are issued your Certificate of Completion.
