Senior Photo Information
Hello Class of Sweet Home 2026 Seniors and Parents,
The Herrmann Studio will be providing your school with a free sitting this year for your Senior portrait. Listed below are the dates we will be offering these free sessions. Please choose one that will best meet your schedule and needs. Students opting to choose for an additional session will be required to pay a $35 cash-only fee for re-takes. This can be avoided by reading all of the following information and coming prepared to your scheduled session.

We will be located in the auditorium.
All students will receive an informational card the day of photos on how to view and order your images. Upon completion, you will receive an email inviting you to view your child’s gallery a few days after the photos are taken.
Consider booking early to get your desired time slot. If you cannot make your chosen time slot, please cancel it so it is available for others to use.

We ask that you read the following guidelines for your portrait session to make it a success for all.
Clothing requirements:
While the school does not have any formal requirements, here are some recommendations for the best outcome for your Senior portrait.
Guys – We would recommend a golf shirt, or button-down shirt with or without a tie (we can tie it for you), or sweater as this is a Senior photo. Please avoid hoodies or T-shirts with logo or brand names. The school will also be providing a solid white or black shirt and tie. (You need a tee shirt to wear the shirt.)
Girls – We would recommend a blouse, sweater, or shirt without a bold print. Please avoid tank tops or a lot of straps, tops with bare arms as shoulder areas tend to look larger in photos if not covered.
The school will also provide the formal black drape to students who may want to wear it for their portraits.
If choosing this option, please be aware that this will require you to be dressed in a strapless type shirt (tube top/tank top) as the top of the shoulders are visible in the photograph. We will also provide strings of pearls if needed. Students in only a strapless bra, racerback bra, or attire unable to accommodate a clean shoulder look will be turned away.
These are not strict guidelines and recognize that a student may wear what they feel most comfortable in.
Other tips recommended for your best portrait include:
Guys: A cleanly shaven face, haircuts a few days previous to appointment, comb or brush.
Girls: Avoid glossy lip color, shiny or heavily applied foundation, multiple necklaces. Bring a comb or brush if needed.
If trying to tame hair flyaways, try spraying hairspray onto your hands, then smoothing your hair.
There will be a mirror available. Please come prepared as this will be your one and only free session.
Photos are taken on a green screen. Please do not wear anything that has green on it.
Photo Examples:
We are also offering an indoor/outdoor photo session at our studio which includes the yearbook photo. This session includes 3 changes of clothing plus indoor and outdoor photos in our studio and outdoor portrait garden. The sitting cost for this option is only $45.
